The long focus Telyt-R 400mm and 560mm f6,8 lenses with the respective code number 11960 and 11865 were introduced in 1970 for use directly with the Leicaflex
cameras along with the Telyt 400mm and 560mm f6,8 for use with the Visoflex II and III with the M series Leicas with the respective code number 11966 and 11864.
Theses lenses were practically identical in structure and offered excellent optical results. They were equipped with a rapid focusing unit with the possibility of rotation for horizontal
and vertical framing. The diaphragm had clicks at half stops between f8 and f16, double threading (1,4″ and 3/8″) for the tripod socket and universal grip with adjustable shoulder butt. With the use of extension ring 14182 it was possible to reduce the minimum focusing distance from 3.6 to 2.26m on the 400mm and 6.4 to 3.86 on the 560mm
